Not sure what to expect when you hire a cleaner? These are some of the questions I hear most often. If yours isn’t here, you can always ask.
Before You Book
No. You don’t need to scrub the bathroom, clear every counter, or make the house look better before I see it.
If there are things you want to put away for privacy or because you know where they belong, that’s helpful, but ordinary clutter, dishes, pet hair, laundry, and buildup are part of the reason people hire a cleaner in the first place.
No. I can quote just the rooms or areas you want help with.
You might want the kitchen and bathrooms cleaned, the main living areas, one floor of the house, or a few rooms that need the most attention. The type of cleaning is based on the work involved, not on whether I’m cleaning the entire home.
You don’t have to figure that out before contacting me.
Maintenance Cleaning is for homes that are generally kept up and need regular cleaning every two weeks or monthly.
Deep Cleaning is more detailed and is a better fit when you want things like baseboard washing, detailed blinds, interior windows, or more buildup addressed.
Reset Cleaning is for homes that have fallen behind and need help getting back to a clean, functional condition.

Yes.
I understand how quickly dishes, bathrooms, floors, pet hair, clutter, and everyday mess can pile up. You don’t need to make the situation sound better than it is when you contact me. Accurate information helps me give you a better quote and plan the cleaning properly.
If something is outside what I can safely handle as a residential cleaner, I’ll let you know.
Not always.
The quote form gives me information about your home, the rooms you want cleaned, and their current condition. I may ask for photos if I need a better look at something.
For some jobs, especially larger or more involved cleanings, a free walkthrough makes more sense.
Services & Pricing
I price by the job rather than by the hour.
Regular cleaning, Deep Cleaning, and Reset Cleaning currently start at $125. Camp Opening and Closing start at $150.
Your actual quote depends on the rooms you want cleaned, their current condition, the work involved, and any add-ons you choose. You’ll receive the scope and total price before the cleaning is booked.
Because you’re hiring me to complete the work we agreed on, not to watch the clock.
A job may take a little more or less time than expected. Pricing by the job lets us agree on what I’m cleaning and what it will cost ahead of time.
Maintenance Cleaning covers the regular cleaning needed to keep the rooms we’ve agreed on in good shape.
That generally includes accessible surfaces, kitchens and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, baseboard vacuuming, light clearing needed to clean surfaces, and normal household trash from the cleaned areas.
Your written quote will show exactly which rooms are included.
Deep Cleaning includes more detailed work than routine Maintenance Cleaning.
Depending on the rooms being cleaned, that can include things such as washing baseboards, more detailed blind cleaning, interior windows, more detailed edges and crevices, and addressing heavier buildup.
It’s still quoted based on the specific rooms and work your home needs.
Reset Cleaning is for a home that needs more than regular upkeep.
I focus on bringing the areas we agree on back to a cleaner, more functional condition. That may mean working around clutter, dealing with dishes or heavier buildup, moving small lightweight items when needed, and prioritizing the areas that will make the biggest practical difference.
The exact scope is customized during the quote process.
Yes. I offer add-ons for work that isn’t part of the standard cleaning scope.
Common examples include oven interiors, refrigerator cleaning, inside cabinets and drawers, dishes, interior windows, blind cleaning, wall washing, linen changes, and laundry.
You can choose the extras that are useful to you rather than paying for services you don’t need.
Yes. Maintenance Cleaning is available on a biweekly or monthly schedule.
Recurring cleaning works best once the home is at a condition that can reasonably be maintained. If it needs more work first, I may recommend a Deep or Reset Cleaning before starting regular service.
Yes. I offer both Camp Opening and Camp Closing cleaning.
Camp Opening focuses on getting the camp ready after it has been sitting, including the normal dust, cobwebs, insects, floors, surfaces, and other seasonal buildup.
Camp Closing focuses on cleaning the agreed areas and getting the camp ready to sit vacant again.
Camp services start at $150.

I’ve seen how quickly a home can get away from someone, and I’m there to handle the cleaning. Being honest about the condition of the house helps me figure out what the job actually needs.
Your home and the circumstances behind it stay your business.
I may use photos privately when they’re helpful for quoting or documenting the work.
I will not post identifiable photos for advertising, social media, or before-and-after content.
